What it does

Everything below is in the app today, not a plan.

Moving and fighting

  • A joystick that appears under your thumb wherever you press on the left, and taps to walk, pick up or talk.
  • A battle pad of nine slots across four pages: hold a slot to put a skill or an item on it.
  • Targets are tapped; the one you picked keeps a ring under it, red for a monster, green for an NPC, blue for a player.
  • Two fingers turn, tilt and zoom the camera, as the PC client's mouse does.
  • Damage numbers, misses and combos are drawn the way the original client draws them.

The windows you know

  • Inventory, equipment, the cart, costumes and storage, with the item's own picture and description.
  • Status, the skill tree, the map, the party and friends, the guild with its tabs, mail, achievements, titles and pets.
  • Trading, vending, buying shops and chat rooms.
  • Chat in the client's own colours, with the overhead bubbles and the emotes.

Data and patches

  • The game data downloads on the first start and carries on where it stopped if the app closes.
  • The server's Thor patches are applied in order, the same files its PC patcher uses.
  • Damaged files can be checked and fetched again from the settings, without downloading everything.
  • New versions of the app arrive by themselves: it offers the update, downloads it and hands it to Android.

Yours to set

  • Music and sound, each with its own level.
  • Graphics quality, a frame limit, and an FPS readout when you want one.
  • Hide other players or NPCs, a flat map, and the size of the joystick.
  • Chat channels, damage numbers, name tags and health bars, on or off.
